From the ‘The Country Starlight Stampede’ in 1991, Annie, Pearly and Leah have blazed their trails as singers and producers, from Woodford festival, jazz bars and rock pubs to the big rooms and main stages of Australia. Collaborating across the thirty years since then, Annie has often called Leah and Pearly into ‘Women In Voice’ and in turn they have dragged her into their adventures singing gospel, folk and bluegrass, yodelling way before it was cool. Reuniting for Woodford, ‘From Whiskey to Rye’ is a celebration of British and American folk, featuring beautiful voices, big harmonies, and a shit-hot band.
